Ever since opening my etsy shop, my sewing room has looked like a tornado hit it. Yikes. But I've been super productive, so that counts for something, right? Besides getting stuff put onto my website, I also spent most of October getting ready for the craft fair at our elementary school Fall Festival. I had a bunch of inventory leftover from last year, but I wanted to add some new stuff. I made some ruffle tote bags and also a million adorable little embroidered hair clips. Busy!
Sales were light, but I expected that. I made enough that I felt it was worthwhile though. My main goal was to pass out business cards directing people to my etsy site, and Livian helped a ton with that. Traffic on my etsy site has definitely picked up. I should probably advertise on facebook and craigslist, but I'm still kinda chicken. So if you know of anyone looking for gifts or handmade stuff, send them my way!
Because of the stress of trying to keep things from blowing away, I didn't get any pictures at the actual craft fair, but I did take some of my setup in the house beforehand. You can get the general idea of how it all looked.
